Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance students' understanding of reproductive health. The activity was conducted at SMPN 1 Kupang, involving 60 students as participants. The implementation methods included multimedia-based counseling, interactive discussions, and an evaluation of understanding through pre-tests and post-tests. The counseling aimed to provide comprehensive information about physical, psychological, and social changes during puberty, as well as risk behavior prevention. The results showed a significant improvement in the students' knowledge. Before the counseling, the average pre-test score was 62%, while after the counseling, it increased to 85%. This improvement reflects the effectiveness of the participatory approach used during the activity. The students also demonstrated active participation in the discussions by asking questions and sharing experiences. In conclusion, this community service program effectively improved students' knowledge of reproductive health. The participatory approach, relevant material presentation, and support from the school played a key role in achieving these results. Recommendations for future activities include deepening the material on risk behavior prevention and increasing parental involvement in reproductive health education. Thus, similar activities are expected to be replicated in other schools to support wider adolescent health education.
