This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of murottal therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertensive patients. This research method uses a systematic review method, with data sources coming from Google Scholar and Garuda Portal. Articles were taken according to the inclusion criteria, namely Quasy-experiment design research, involving hypertensive patients, and full-text articles published in the period 2020-2024. Exclusion criteria included articles that did not meet the full research structure, review-based articles, or articles with content that was not relevant to the topic. From the search results there were 1,414 articles, then there were articles that were in accordance with the research topic and the final analysis results were six relevant articles analyzed using the PRISMA framework. The results of the review showed that murottal therapy was effective in reducing blood pressure, accompanied by significant statistical test results on upper (systole) and lower (diastole) pressure. This therapeutic effect is thought to be related to the ability of murottal to provide relaxation, reduce anxiety, and stabilize hormones that affect blood pressure. This study recommends murottal therapy as a non-pharmacological approach to help manage hypertension.
Nisya Konita Miftahul Falah Copyright (c) 2025 Nisya Konita, Miftahul Falah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-03-31 2025-03-31 12 1 7 17 10.52221/jurkes.v12i1.762 The Effect of Rheumatic Gymnastics on Reducing Joint Pain in Elderly People With Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Literature Review https://ojs.stikesmucis.ac.id/index.php/jurkes/article/view/764
A person is said to be elderly when they reach the age of 60 and experience various changes. Students' knowledge about the dangers of smoking is quite good, although challenges remain in improving their understanding of the serious health risks. Their attitudes demonstrate strong belief in the effectiveness of anti-smoking campaigns, with 67.6% of respondents agreeing that smoking has a severe negative impact on health. The practice of smoking prevention is also relatively high, with 64.8% of students supporting smoking cessation programs and replacing smoking habits with healthy activities. The study concludes that students' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior regarding smoking habits are generally good. However, further education is needed to ensure effective smoking prevention and reduce the associated health risks.
Ahda Sabila Rizky Farmasita Budiastuti Anugerah Budipratama Adina Bilqis Zhafira Melis Indriani Copyright (c) 2025 Ahda Sabila, Rizky Farmasita Budiastuti, Anugerah Budipratama Adina, Bilqis Zhafira, Melis Indriani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-03-31 2025-03-31 12 1 27 36 10.52221/jurkes.v12i1.774 The Importance of Management Family-Centered Care Model in Stroke Recovery : A Comprehensive Examination https://ojs.stikesmucis.ac.id/index.php/jurkes/article/view/783
Stroke is a substantial health issue that affects numerous individuals and their families. Stroke survivors and their carers sometimes face difficulties when transitioning from the hospital to their home. Implementing a family-centered care approach throughout rehabilitation is crucial for properly addressing the needs of both parties. Although advantageous, this strategy may give more importance to the worries of family members rather than those of the stroke survivors themselves. The objective of this study was to assess the efficacy of a family-centered care approach in stroke rehabilitation by an analysis of existing research literature and the examination of outcomes. This integrated literature study employs a methodology that investigates databases like Scopus, PubMed, Researchgate, and Google Scholar across several nations such as the United States, Canada, Australia, England, South Korea, the Netherlands, Japan, and others. The results indicated that implementing a family-centered care approach in stroke therapy yielded significant enhancements in the Both groups' physical and mental well-being. The existing body of research suggests that the involvement of family members in the provision of care and support for individuals who have experienced a stroke leads to enhanced outcomes in relation to physical functioning, psychological well-being, and overall quality of life. In stroke rehabilitation, the implementation of a family-centered care approach ultimately leads to favorable outcomes for both stroke patients and their caregivers. Future research should place emphasis on the discovery of specific strategies for effective implementation and the evaluation of the long-term effects of these approaches on persons who have suffered a stroke and their family members.

Windri Dewi Ayu Halimatusyadiah Halimatusyadiah Ahmad Jaelani Copyright (c) 2025 Windri Dewi Ayu, Halimatusyadiah, Ahmad Jaelani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-03-31 2025-03-31 12 1 37 57 10.52221/jurkes.v12i1.783 Case Study: Topical Tribee Ointment Application with Moist Dressings in a Postoperative Diabetic Foot Ulcer Amputation Patient https://ojs.stikesmucis.ac.id/index.php/jurkes/article/view/804
Diabetic foot ulcers are one of the most common and severe complications in patients with Diabetes Mellitus, often resulting in infections and amputations. Optimal wound care is crucial to accelerate healing and prevent further complications. a herbal ointment containing tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), vitamin E, and honey, has demonstrated antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties. Recent research highlights the role of genetic expression in these diseases, with lifestyle interventions, such as dietary changes, shown to influence gene expression linked to neurodegeneration. One promising approach is intermittent fasting (IF), a dietary method alternating fasting and eating periods, which affects biological processes like cellular repair, inflammation, and metabolism. Emerging evidence suggests IF may also alter gene expression related to neurodegenerative diseases, potentially reducing risk and slowing progression. This review examines current studies on the impact of IF on gene expression in neurodegeneration, exploring its mechanisms and implications for new therapeutic and preventive strategies.
Rizky Amalia Siregar Benedikta Diah Saraswati Copyright (c) 2025 Rizky Amalia Siregar, Benedikta Diah Saraswati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-04-25 2025-04-25 12 1 96 104 10.52221/jurkes.v12i1.817 Medication Adherence and Lifestyle Modification in Pregnant Women with Hypertension https://ojs.stikesmucis.ac.id/index.php/jurkes/article/view/818
Hypertension in pregnancy is a leading cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality, contributing to 10% of global pregnancies and 412 maternal deaths in Indonesia in 2023. Proper management through medication and lifestyle changes is essential, but adherence remains low due to misinformation, fear of medication effects, and limited healthcare access. This study aimed to identify medication adherence and lifestyle modification in pregnant women with hypertension. A cross-sectional design was used with stratified random sampling. Data were collected through a validated questionnaire and analyzed descriptively. Results showed that 80.7% of respondents had high medication adherence and 77.2% had high lifestyle modifications. Significant associations were found between parity (p=0.042), history of hypertension (p=0.01), and ANC frequency (p=0.008) with medication adherence. Similarly, lifestyle modification was significantly associated with parity (p = 0.003), a history of hypertension (p = 0.000), and ANC frequency (p = 0.001). Multivariate analysis showed that ANC frequency predicted medication adherence (p=0.028), while history of hypertension predicted lifestyle modification (p=0.035). In conclusion, most pregnant women demonstrated high adherence levels. However, continuous health education, counseling, and family support are essential to maintain optimal maternal outcomes and reduce the risks associated with hypertensive disorders during pregnancy.

Keywords :

Hypertension, pregnancy, medication adherence, lifestyle modification.

Etty Komariah Sambas Enok Nurliawati Wahyu Ikka Setyarini Copyright (c) 2025 Etty Komariah Sambas, Enok Nurliawati, Wahyu Ikka Setyarini https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 2025-04-25 2025-04-25 12 1 105 113 10.52221/jurkes.v12i1.818
